This group of 217 growers (138 men and 79 women) was founded in 2004. They are spread over 18 communities in the municipality of Tuma la Dalia, Matagalpa Department, Nicaragua.
The CCDA is an indigenous peasant organization committed to social justice in Guatemala. The CCDA was founded in 1982 in response to rising human rights violations of Guatemala’s 36-year civil war.
